Blowing entrance of Omega:

We have a couple things to do here this year. One is to finish the
construction of a gate and install it sometime this year. This may or may
not happen on one of the expedition weekends, but it does need to be done
this year.

Survey! There are a couple areas with leads that are within 4 hours of the
entrance. Briefly, they are downstream upper levels, upper levels over Choir
Boy Canyon, and a couple things at the top and bottom of the Secret Servicer
area. As usual, potential is always high for finding something that goes a
long, long ways.

Hairy Hole:

There are still plenty of virgin leads remaining in the new section, as well
as plenty of known passage to re-survey in the old part of the cave. Some of
this has potential for leading to more new cave and a by-pass via upper
levels to the grim muck-crawl leading to the downstream section.

Powell River Spring:

Ron may dive in here again and might need the help of one or two folks. Or,
a couple interested folks could check out the spring and watch him dive.

Solomon's Seal Dig:

This would be a continuation of the major dig effort in this air-blowing
lead with tremendous potential. We made some really good progress last year
and installed a culvert and gate on the dig. The dig ended last year with
access gained to some small passages, but with some uncertainty as to where
the air was coming from. It may be coming from above these small passages.
In any event, continuing this great project will require rock removal.

Miscellaneous:

There are always odds and ends to do on the surface, as well as other very
interesting leads that we hope to arrange access to by then.

DESCRIPTION:There will be a sinkhole cleanup at the Cave Hollow Farm in Unus, WV on May 26th starting at 9 AM. The Central Conn Grotto has volunteered to come to WV and work on the trash filled sink adjacent to the Balfour entrance to Culverson Creek Cave. They will be bringing cutting torches to help with the removal of an old truck. There will also be a backhoe and a dump truck for removal of other items.

There will be plenty of camping and bunks available at local cavers homes
and at the WVACS fieldstation. Plenty of food and drinks will be provided.
Also, there is a 21 mile long cave to play in when the work is done. For
